Civilian Marksmanship Program

Our Mission:

Promote excellence in marksmanship, firearms safety and youth programs made possible by the secure restoration and sale of historic American firearms.

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a federally chartered 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to promoting firearms safety, marksmanship training, and competition across the U.S.—with a core focus on youth development through structured educational programs, clinics, and matches.

Guided by its mission, the CMP operates training centers in Camp Perry (Ohio), Anniston and Talladega (Alabama), and supports hundreds of affiliated clubs.
